Blackwards is an open and honest take on politics, social stigmas and addresses societal standards in a brash and unapologetic fashion. There is no room for the weak here. As the tone is set on a dark back drop with songs like 'Blakc $heep' and 'Without the Blood', it balances itself out with vibrant and upbeat cuts like 'High Vibrations' and '2Nite'. While taking on issues like racism and gang violence on 'Ricky', Saint also faces his own demons on tracks like 'No Man's Land' and 'Just Got Real'. All in all, Saint has taken a hard stance on many issues that many people shy away from and made himself extremely vulnerable at certain unforgettable moments. With the fiery passion and mass amounts of information, this project is bound to entertain, inform and make you see that things in our society and the world at large are most definitely Blakcwards.
